Job summary

Electrolux Home Products, Inc. in Springfield, TN is seeking a Die Setter III for 2nd shift to support the fabrication department.

You will set up jobs, troubleshoot die issues, and perform quality audits on running parts to ensure compliance with SMED and energy goals. The role requires prior Electrolux fabrication experience (Fab Tech 2), ability to lift up to 40 lbs, English literacy, and a lift truck license.

Qualifications

• Must have previous Electrolux Fabrication experience as a Fab Tech 2 or 2 years outside die setting experience.
• Must pass Die Setter evaluation in 60 days.
• Electrolux license to operate a lift truck required.
• Able to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
• Able to read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up various jobs throughout the Fabrication Department requiring startup of equipment from complete shutdown to ready and run mode.
• Recognize routine problems related to daily operation of presses and dies.
• Perform quality audit functions on both manually and automatically run parts.
• Troubleshoot and solve minor die problems.
• Understand and follow SMED procedures to meet goals.
• Be aware of the impacts on the overall energy performance of the facility according to the company's energy policy.
