Job summary

Oliver Inc. is seeking a Die-Cutting Specialist to transform printed sheets into precisely engineered components for folding cartons. You will balance quality, throughput, and safety while mentoring peers and keeping equipment in peak condition.

The role requires experience with steel rule tooling, counters, make-ready materials, and strict adherence to dielines and quality specs. You will work on second/third shifts in a modern, safe manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Die Cutting Operator/Pressman in printing, packaging, or folding carton conversion.
• Expertise with steel rule tooling, counter plates, make-ready materials, and stripping/blanking fixtures.
• Fluency with job tickets, dielines, CAD layouts, and quality specs; strong math and measurement skills.
• Mechanical aptitude; able to diagnose and resolve die-cutting issues; exposure to top brands is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Configure, calibrate, and operate die-cutting presses, including stripping and blanking operations.
• Lead make-readies: set steel rule dies and counter plates, verify scoring/creasing across boards, and confirm accuracy via samples.
• Track quality metrics during production and adjust processes to maintain tolerances.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and minor repairs to maximize uptime.
• Promote a safe workplace and high-efficiency teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
