Job summary

Mill Rock Packaging Partners in St. Paul, MN is seeking a Die Cutting Assistant to support our Operations Teams. You will help set up tooling, assist with machine change-overs, load and unload materials, and ensure loads meet quality standards during the die-cutting process.

The role requires hands-on work with tooling, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. The position is full-time, with a 3rd shift in a production environment in Saint Paul.

Qualifications

• Ability to work together as a Die Cutting Team.
• Open to feedback to improve performance.
• Hands-on with tooling and machines.
• Basic computer skills or ability to learn.
• Excellent endurance to stand and move all day.
• Able to lift up to 35-40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare loads for die cutting and load stock.
• Off-load die cutter and inspect loads for errors.
• Perform quality checks per quality system.
• Set up tooling using centerline system.
• Set up top/bottom stripping pins and blankers.
• Maintain tooling storage and work area.
• Assist with routine die cutter maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
