Job summary

ProAmpac in Orlando, FL is seeking a Die Cutter Operator to safely set up and run the die cutting equipment in the manufacturing area. You will ensure compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and housekeeping while meeting production targets.

Responsibilities include machine setup, guarding PPE, training teammates, reading schedules, reporting production data, and performing inspections and quality checks to avert defects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Color matching accuracy and numerical precision are essential.
• Able to read and interpret technical information and procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and teamwork are required.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate designated die cutting machine.
• Use proper PPE and follow safety and quality standards.
• Work as a team to meet safety, quality and efficiency goals.
• Assist in training new team members on equipment and processes.
• Read and understand order schedules and specs.
• Maintain accurate production reporting.
• Perform pre-start inspections and make adjustments as needed.
• Plan materials and ensure availability for production.
• Conduct regular quality checks and monitor defects.
• Perform daily/periodic cleaning to maintain 5S and GMP/SQF standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools to prevent wear.
• Identify safety, quality, waste, and efficiency improvement opportunities.
