Job summary

Skills Alliance is seeking a Die Cut Operator to join a fast-paced production environment. You will set up, operate, and monitor die cutting machinery to produce packaging components in line with specifications and quality standards.

You will contribute to on-time delivery while upholding safety, accuracy, and efficiency, with opportunities for growth through a benefits package including medical and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Experience operating die cutting or similar converting machinery in an industrial, printing or packaging environment.
• Technical aptitude to set up, adjust, and troubleshoot automated equipment.
• Background in paper packaging, print, or related manufacturing processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards in a production setting.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions, production orders, and specifications.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven industrial environment.
• Strong awareness of health, safety, and housekeeping requirements on the production floor.
• Good teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with production and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

Job description

As a Die Cut Operator you will be a key part of a technically driven, industrial environment. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring die cutting machinery to produce high-quality packaging components in line with production specifications and quality standards. Working within an automated and fast-paced operation, you will ensure efficient machine performance, minimise downtime, and maintain safety and quality throughout the production process, contributing directly to on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
