Job summary

Ahresty in Wilmington, OH is seeking a Process Engineering Technician I to support die casting operations by maintaining auxiliary equipment, monitoring consumables, and assisting with trials and evaluations.

The role involves basic maintenance on equipment, inventory tracking, and collaboration with engineering to drive process improvements; shifts include 2nd or 3rd, with training on 1st shift. Must have strong mechanical aptitude and good communication.

Qualifications

• Must be hands on with high mechanical ability.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have good computer skills in developing reports using basic spreadsheets and graphs as well as word processing.

Responsibilities

• Daily process trouble shooting
• Daily DC Production Support
• Daily rejection rate review / Improvement
• Daily process condition checks
• Spray cassette Maintenance / repairs
• Basic robot programming
• Minor fabrication skills
• Basic computer skill (Word/ Excel)
• Assisting with Engineering projects
• Use of measuring devices (Bore Gauge, Micrometer, etc.)
• Ability to work overtime as needed with short notice
• Good team working Attitude
• Self-Motivated and willing to learn
• Must be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift
