Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our client, a leading aluminum die casting manufacturer, in Grafton, WI.

The 2nd shift (2:00 PM–10:00 PM CST, M-F) focuses on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of CNC machines, robotic systems, PLC-controlled equipment, and related production machinery. You will support safety and continuous improvement initiatives, read blueprints and schematics, and work with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

3–5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
Experience with robotic systems, CNC equipment, and welding.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines, robotic systems, PLC-controlled equipment, and die cast production machinery.
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to maximize equipment uptime.
Diagnose and repair facility equipment including furnaces, compressors, pumps, transformers, cooling systems, and plant air systems.
Support die maintenance activities including die assembly, repair, component replacement, trim die maintenance, and tooling troubleshooting.
Maintain a safe work environment while supporting continuous improvement, 5S initiatives, and quality system requirements.
