Job summary

Linamar Corporation is seeking a Diecast Machine Operator to operate the die cast equipment and ensure parts meet quality standards. The role requires independent work with minimal supervision and adherence to safety and 5S practices.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting minor machine issues, assisting with die set ups, and performing basic calculations and data entry on production systems. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Operate all die cast equipment to specification.
• Identify problems and take corrective action.
• Assist with die set ups and tooling changes.
• Read, understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Perform basic math calculations and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Operate the die cast machine and its components.
• Troubleshoot minor issues to keep production running.
• Assist with die set ups and tooling changes as needed.
• Follow safety and 5S initiatives and report hazards.
• Maintain quality and communicate with supervision.
