Job Summary:

The University of Colorado, College of Nursing is seekingexceptional nurses with graduate education who have recent clinicalexperience and interest in teaching nursing in an academic setting.These adjunct academic faculty positions have direct teaching andstudent evaluation responsibilities and will providedidactic/clinical instruction for students formally enrolled innursing education courses at the University of Colorado, College ofNursing. Faculty rank will depend on the candidate's qualificationsand experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Class Coverage :
• The College of Nursing enrolls over 1,200 students in fouracademic degree programs: BS, Masters, Doctor of Nursing Practice(DNP), and PhD. The number of student/s will vary from a ratio of1-35 to 1-100 depending on the specific course and the level of thestudents. It is expected that this individual will assume thedirect teaching responsibilities in classroom, online, or hybridenvironments.
• Learning Experiences:
• This position is responsible for assuring that the learningexperiences provided are congruent with the overall curriculum,course competencies, and integrate clinical and researchknowledge.
• Evaluation:
• Assess student learning and communicate evaluations withstudent(s) directly. The final evaluation and grade will be the responsibility of this position.

Work Location:

Hybrid – this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule asneeded.

Anticipated Pay Range:

• $2,942 for initial credit hour and $1,705 for each subsequentcredit hour at Adjunct academic Instructor;
• $3,168 for initial credit hour and $1,842 for each subsequentcredit hour at Adjunct academic Sr. Instructor
• $3,350 for initial credit hour and $1,945 for each subsequentcredit hour at Adjunct academic Assistant Professor;
• $3,948 for initial credit hour and $2,194 for each subsequentcredit hour at Adjunct academic Associate Professor;
• $4,900 for initial credit hour and $2,450 for each subsequentcredit hour at Adjunct academic Professor.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
