Signet Jewelers Limited is seeking a motivated stone setter to join the team in a hands-on jewelry manufacturing role. The position involves stone setting, soldering, and polishing across various mounting types; attention to detail and adherence to production standards are essential.

Experience with platinum and gold is a plus. Responsibilities include assembling components, achieving target quality, and maintaining consistent attendance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; technical training in metal or jewelry programs preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Consistent regular attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Stone setting (all types), soldering, prong re-tipping, resetting stones, assembly, and polishing.
• Meet predetermined quality standards.
• Performs stone setting to production and quality levels.
• Assemble head/shank, set stones in various mounts, sizing, retipping prongs, soldering rings, basic fabrication and repair.
• Cut/file settings to accommodate stones with hand tools and drill motors.
• Set stones uniformly on plane when multiple stones are used.
• Work with platinum and gold.
