Sanford Health in New Town, ND is hiring a Hemodialysis Technician to join a brand-new dialysis unit. You will perform delegated nursing interventions under RN supervision, operate dialysis equipment, monitor treatments, collect patient data, and respond to alarms, while following age-related care protocols.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of healthcare experience preferred, BLS through American Heart Association, and certification as a Hemodialysis Technician within 18

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year of health care experience preferred; dialysis experience preferred.
• Certification as Hemodialysis Technician within 18 months of hire.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.
• ND UAP Registry if working in North Dakota at start of employment.
• SD dialysis technician registration after certification (within 18 months).

Responsibilities

• Performs delegated nursing interventions under RN supervision.
• Operates dialysis equipment and monitors treatments.
• Gathers and documents pertinent patient information.
• Responds to dialysis alarms and emergencies.
• Maintains infection control practices and patient safety.
