Job summary

FutureCare seeks a Dialysis Technician to support residents during treatment under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role follows state scope of practice policies to deliver safe, effective care.

Responsibilities include vital-sign monitoring, specimen labeling, equipment setup and monitoring, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Requires 2+ years dialysis center experience, Maryland license as a Dialysis Technician, CCHT, CPR, and ability to lift patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a dialysis treatment center.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must hold Maryland CCHT license.
• Must hold a current license in the state of Maryland as a Dialysis Technician.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Record and monitor pre and post treatment vital signs
• Collect and label blood specimens and ensure timely delivery to specified labs
• Document appropriate patient information and report all new and unusual incidents, information, complaints, or problems to the Registered Nurse
• Set-up, prime and monitor dialysis equipment and cleaning equipment
• Promote and assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment

The salary mentioned above reflects the potential base pay range for this role. Bonuses or other incentives (if applicable) are offered separately and paid pursuant to the relevant program schedule. Qualifications

• Must be in good standing as a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) Certified by Maryland Registry
• Must hold a current license in the state of Maryland as a Dialysis Technician
• Demonstrated completions of all applicable state requirements for education training, competency, and standard of practice
• Current CPR certification required
• Knowledge with basic computer skills and other health systems required
• Must be able to lift patients and assist with ambulation when needed
