Job summary

Lee Health in Fort Myers is seeking a Dialysis Nurse to deliver safe hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis treatments and document care. You will apply the nursing process across assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation while coordinating with the care team.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, BLS, and at least 2 years dialysis experience. It includes night shifts, on-site duties, and collaboration within a Magnet-designated, patient‑focused health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• 2 years dialysis experience required; acute dialysis experience preferred.
• Florida RN license required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe delivery and documentation of hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis treatments.
• Provide patient care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery.
• Direct and coordinate nursing care based on ANA standards and Florida Nurse Practice Act.
• Support organization vision and mission and promote quality care.
