Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care based on the nursing process within assigned work periods. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes aligned with the plan of care and support clinical, financial and organizational goals.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), an active MA RN license, and BLS certified; ACLS/PALS may be required in some departments.

SUMMARY:

The RN is responsible for providing direct patient care based on the nursing process within assigned work periods. They function as a member of a multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes consistent with the comprehensive plan of care. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Knowledge of nursing process, social, behavioral and biological sciences normally acquired via approved nursing program.
Able to provide age and culturally specific care to the population served.
Ability to analyze data, to synthesize and summarize information and to make judgements regarding patient care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

For specialty areas, related experience and qualifications may be required.

EDUCATION:

Associate’s degree from an accredited school of nursing. BSN strongly preferred.
MA RN license and BLS required (Some departments require ACLS or PALS)

Pay Range:

$35.70-$71.40
