Job summary

Concerto Renal Services seeks a Dialysis Nurse to oversee dialysis care in line with policy, procedure and state/federal regulations. You will supervise the unit, work hands-on with patients, and lead a team of dialysis technicians to uphold high standards.

This role emphasizes patient education, treatment monitoring, collaboration with physicians, accurate documentation, and adherence to safety rules to ensure uninterrupted, quality renal care.

Qualifications

• Dialysis Nurse is expected to supervise dialysis care in accordance with policy, procedure and training and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Assures responsibility for the unit and works collaboratively with the hemodialysis healthcare team.
• Supervises care given by dialysis technicians while maintaining a hands-on role and fostering a team approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care & Education: Provides direct hemodialysis care, assessments, and education on renal health and self-care.
• Team Leadership & Supervision: Delegates tasks to dialysis technicians and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Treatment Monitoring & Adjustment: Monitors patient response, adjusts plans, documents interventions and outcomes.
• Collaboration & Communication: Coordinates with physicians and healthcare team; reports critical lab results.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintains EMR accuracy and adheres to safety protocols.
