Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced RN to lead care delivery on the nursing unit. You will utilize the nursing process to plan, direct, and supervise patient care and participate in interdisciplinary planning, discharge coordination, and patient education.

The role requires RN license in the state, BLS certification, ACLS (preferred initially and after 90 days, and required from day 1 for Charge Nurses, High Observations and ICU), with NNCC certification preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• RN License in the state you are applying.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment.
• ACLS required from day 1 for Charge Nurses, High Ob, and ICU.
• NNCC certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to utilize the nursing process and supervise patient care.
• For Charge Nurse duties, ACLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients on the unit.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary planning.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient education for post-hospital care.
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• Access community resources as needed for patient support.
• Oversee dialysis treatments for acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians.
• Perform other related duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse duties.
