Ditmas Park Dialysis Center is recruiting an experienced Dialysis Nurse to join our healthcare team in New York. The successful candidate will provide hemodialysis treatments, monitor patients, and support families throughout the treatment process.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dialysis Nurse.
• Proficiency in operating hemodialysis equipment.
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
• Monitor vital signs and adjust treatment parameters as necessary.
• Administer medications and IV fluids per physician orders.
• Set up and operate hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis machines safely.
• Educate patients and families about dialysis procedures and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain accurate medical records and participate in QA and team meetings.
