Sanderling Renal Services, Inc. in Chicago, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Dialysis to provide comprehensive care to patients receiving hemodialysis. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate treatment, collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective dialysis therapy.

This in-person role requires current RN license, BLS, and dialysis or nephrology experience preferred; ACLS is a plus. The schedule offers flexible shifts.

Competenze

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred).
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Dialysis or nephrology experience preferred; training may be provided.
• Strong assessment, clinical decision-making, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Mansioni

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after dialysis.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Initiate, monitor, and terminate hemodialysis treatments per physician orders.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Monitor patients for complications and respond to emergencies.
• Manage vascular access sites (AV fistulas, grafts, CVCs).
• Interpret labs and communicate findings to the team.
• Educate patients and families on kidney disease and self-care.
• Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, dietitians, social workers, technicians.
• Ensure infection control and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in QA and staff education.
• Serve as clinical resource for LPNs and dialysis staff.
