Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Central Pennsylvania is hiring an Outpatient Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in our dialysis centers. You will monitor patients during hemodialysis, document care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe treatments.

The ideal candidate has graduated from an accredited nursing program, current state RN licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and at least 9 months of RN experience. Some travel to training sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
• Current state RN licensure.
• CPR and BLS certification required.
• At least 9 months of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, assess, and support patients before, during, and after hemodialysis treatments.
• Perform vascular access, collect and analyze patient data, and administer medications as prescribed.
• Prepare and operate dialysis machines, ensuring hygiene and safety.
• Document care plans and patient treatment data; follow prescriptions and protocols.
• Collaborate with the care team; participate in onboarding and staff education.
