Job summary

Wellstar Health Systems is hiring a Registered Nurse for Dialysis in Columbia County, Georgia. The role supports patient care in a dialysis unit with a day shift from 7am to 5pm, emphasizing compassionate service and teamwork within the patient care team.

The RN will assess and plan care, educate patients and families, participate in performance improvement, and uphold safety and confidentiality standards while advancing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or nursing diploma; BSN preferred.
• Current nursing license and required certifications at hire.
• BLS certification required; instructor status preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions and update the care plan.
• Collaborate with care team to coordinate daily patient flow and safety.
• Document patient assessments, care delivered, and incidents per policy.
• Provide patient education and advocate for patient/family needs.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and governance.
• Mentor and precept nurses; uphold confidentiality and professional standards.
• Support recruitment and foster a positive work environment.
