Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dialysis center team. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care within a multidisciplinary team, performing assessments, and monitoring patients during dialysis procedures.

The RN will administer medications as ordered, document care, collaborate with PCTs and other staff, and ensure adherence to safety, regulatory standards, and company policies while promoting a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of renal care and medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comfortable dialysis treatments, including physical assessments and monitoring patients during procedures.
• Complete and document assessments before and after treatments.
• Administer medications per physician orders and review patient medication profiles regularly.
• Supervise and assist Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to ensure optimal patient care.
• Participate in care planning, assessments, and team collaboration to meet patient needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to company policies, state and federal laws, and participate in ongoing staff training and education.
