Job summary

Encompass Health in Reynolds Township, IL, is seeking a Hemodialysis RN to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You will provide direct patient care to dialysis inpatients, participate in treatment supervision, and develop personalized care plans to improve patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes educating patients and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, tailored care in a state-of-the-art dialysis setting.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.
• CRRN certification preferred (assistance to obtain).
• At least 6 months dialysis nursing experience.
• At least 1 year inpatient hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to inpatients requiring hemodialysis.
• Supervise care and treatments, conduct patient assessments, create personalized care plans, and address patient concerns.
• Build rewarding relationships with patients by addressing physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in recovery.
• Educate nursing staff on hemodialysis care, equipment, and standards of care.

Your role involves:

• Providing direct patient care to inpatients in need of hemodialysis.
• Providing direct patient care to inpatients in need of hemodialysis. Supervising care and treatments, conducting patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and addressing patient concerns.
