Job summary

Encompass Health in Lexington, KY is seeking a Hemodialysis RN for a part-time role. Dialysis shifts run Mon-Sat and range from 8 to 12 hours during the day, with care provided in a state-of-the-art dialysis suite within Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital.

You will join an interdisciplinary team focused on delivering compassionate, tailored care to dialysis patients, with opportunities for professional growth and advancement in a nationally recognized inpatient rehabilitation leader.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS within 1 year of hire.
• CRRN certification preferred (If you don't have it, we can help you to obtain it!).
• 1 year of experience in inpatient hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to inpatients requiring hemodialysis.
• Supervise care and treatments, assess patients, create care plans, and address concerns.
• Build relationships with patients by understanding physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid recovery.
• Educate nursing staff on hemodialysis care, equipment, and standards of care.

Be the Kind of Hemodialysis Nurse You Want to Be - All in One Location

Your role involves:

Providing direct patient care to inpatients in need of hemodialysis.

Supervising care and treatments, conducting patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and addressing patient concerns.

Building rewarding relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in their recovery.

Educating nursing staff on the care of the hemodialysis patient, hemodialysis equipment, and hemodialysis standards of care.

Qualifications
