Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our nonprofit team in a in‑center hemodialysis unit. The role emphasizes patient‑centered care, education, and teamwork, with a focus on high quality outcomes and safety.

The schedule is 30 hours per week on three 10‑hour shifts starting at 5:30am, Sundays off, and no overnight shifts. Compensation ranges from $41.00 to $58.46 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and paid training.

Qualifications

  • Accredited nursing degree required.
  • Dialysis experience not required; job shadow opportunities available.
  • DCI provides 3‑months of comprehensive training, including classroom sessions and hands-on skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare dialysis machine, alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards.
  • Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures.
  • Ongoing patient education, training and health coaching.
  • Monitor patients during dialysis, communicating changes with physicians and families.
  • Administer and chart prescribed medications.
  • Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations.
  • Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews.
  • Document required patient education efforts.
  • Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals.
  • Assist in medication inventory maintenance.
  • Lead a small patient care team.
  • Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed.
  • Additional tasks as requested.

A Dialysis Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care at one of DCI’s in‑center hemodialysis units as part of a patient care team. Our RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient.
