Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our nonprofit dialysis team in Farmington, CT. You will prepare dialysis equipment and medications, perform treatments, and educate patients while adhering to safety and quality standards.

We offer a 3-month paid training program, comprehensive benefits, and a culture focused on patient-centered care. This role features three 10-hour shifts starting early morning with Sundays off and no overnight requirements.

A Dialysis Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care at one of DCI’s in-center hemodialysis units as part of a patient care team. Our RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient.

Schedule

30 hours/week @ three 10-hour shifts starting at 5:30am; Sundays off; no overnight shifts

Compensation

Pay ranges from $41.00-$58.46 per hour, depending on nursing and dialysis experience

Responsibilities

What You Can Expect:

• Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met
• Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures
• Ongoing patient education, training and health coaching
• Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and families
• Administer and chart all prescribed medications
• Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations
• Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews
• Document required patient education efforts
• Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
• Assist in medication inventory maintenance
• Lead a small patient care team
• Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed
• Additional tasks as requested
