Job summary

Concerto Renal Services is actively seeking a Dialysis Nurse to supervise dialysis care within a skilled nursing or long-term care setting. The role emphasizes hands-on patient care and team coordination to ensure high-quality outcomes.

You will oversee dialysis procedures, educate patients on renal health, supervise dialysis technicians, monitor responses to treatment, and maintain compliant documentation across EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Dialysis experience in a nursing role is preferred.
• Experience supervising dialysis technicians and coordinating with physicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct hemodialysis care, assess patients, administer medications, and educate patients on renal health, treatment, and self-care.
• Delegate tasks to dialysis technicians, supervise their performance, and ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulations.
• Monitor patient response to dialysis, adjust treatment plans as needed, and ensure accurate documentation of interventions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate care, report critical lab results, and ensure continuity of treatment.
• Maintain electronic medical records, ensure timely completion of care plans, and adhere to safety and regulatory protocols.

Why is this Role Essential?

Concerto is seeking a Dialysis Nurse to join its team! The Dialysis Nurse supervises dialysis care in accordance with policy, procedure and training and in compliance with state and federal regulations. Assures responsibility for the unit and works collaboratively with members of the hemodialysis healthcare team. Supervises care given by dialysis technicians while assuming a 'hands on' role and fostering a team approach to patient care.

What Will You Do?

1. Patient Care & Education
