Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nutrition.
Completion of an approved dietetic internship.
ADA Registered.
Minimum of 1 year professional experience as RD in clinical nutrition.

Responsibilities

Conduct initial and follow-up assessments with patients to understand nutritional needs.
Develop personalized diet plans aligned with patients' lifestyle.
Educate patients, caregivers, and staff with practical guidance.
Coordinate with hospitals, home health agencies, and community partners to ensure consistent care.
Monitor adherence to diet plans and celebrate progress.
Review monthly lab results to translate data into actionable insights.
Suggest adjustments to nutrition plans based on medications and labs.
Respond to urgent nutritional concerns like hyperkalemia.
