Job summary

Alaska Dialysis in Wasilla is seeking a Registered Dietitian to lead clinical nutrition care for adult and geriatric ESRD patients. You will conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments, develop care plans, and educate patients and staff within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires registering with the CDR, Alaska licensure, and 1+ year clinical nutrition experience. Travel to Denali Dialysis and flexible scheduling are involved.

Qualifications

• Must meet minimum education requirements to obtain registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• CDR Registered Dietitian credential required.
• Minimum of one year experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian preferred.
• Alaska license or ability to license is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial nutritional assessments and develop nutrition care plans for patients.
• Formulate and implement clinic nutrition policies and processes.
• Provide expert nutritional guidance to patients, management and physicians.
• Monitor nutritional outcomes with monthly lab reviews and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary clinic team on care planning and education tools.
