Fresenius Medical Care in Eureka, CA is seeking a Dialysis Patient Care Technician to join the dialysis health care team under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will help set up and operate dialysis machines and maintain a safe, clean environment.

Responsibilities include patient education, monitoring vital signs, assisting with cannulation and heparin administration as delegated, documenting treatment data, and participating in CQI activities to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required or obtained within orientation.
• Previous patient-care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with education for patients on dialysis adequacy.
• Operate and monitor hemodialysis equipment.
• Record vital signs and treatment parameters.
• Maintain clean, safe, and compliant work area.
• Observe and report changes to the nurse.
• Support CQI activities and infection control practices.
