U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our dialysis team. You will work under RN supervision to deliver dialysis treatment, monitor patients, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

How you will change lives
As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at U.S. Renal Care, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team providing care and delegated activities of treatment to patients. The PCT will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse for patients with renal failure.
What you'll be doing
Patient care. You will work directly with patients to provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment. Responsibilities include gathering patient vital signs before and after treatment, initiatingtreatment, monitoringpatientsduring treatment, terminatingtreatment, and collecting patient blood samples perphysicianorders.
Safety & Quality. You will ensure quality comes first by preparing machines for hemodialysis treatments, cleaningand disinfecting machines after treatment, and conducting machine safety checks and logging results for quality control, ensuring all protocols and regulations are followed.You will use appropriate safetymeasures, including personal protective equipment.
Partnership. You'll be a critical member of an interdisciplinary team providing required patient assessment and care planning activities. Working under the supervision of a Charge Nurse, you will adhere to all company policies, procedures, and state/federal laws and regulations. You will participate in all required staff meetings and continuing education offerings.
What we're looking for
High schoolgraduateor equivalent
Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients.
Previous healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.
Ability to safely mix and prepare chemical solutions following strict safety protocols
Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
Other requirements
Successful completion of USRC training program approved by the Medical Director, including demonstratedcompetency; this includes successful completion of USRC training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis within8 weeksof hire.
CPR certification required within 90 days of hire or as required by the state.
Patient Care Technician certification must be obtained through a state certification program or national commercially available certification program within 18 months of hire date and maintained in good standing thereafter. Specific state requirements may be applicable and required.
