Job summary

• High School diploma or G.E.D. is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• CMS state/national certification requirements must be met within the CMS timeline.
• State licensure, education, and training as required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Welcome patients and monitor wellbeing during treatment.
• Perform vascular access cannulation and administer heparin as allowed by state law.
• Record vital signs, weight, and treatment data accurately.
• Ensure safety alarms and machine checks are completed during dialysis.
• Document patient treatment and communicate changes to supervising RN.
