Dialyze Direct in Tallmadge, OH seeks a Dialysis Patient Care Technician - Float (M-F) for day shift. Responsibilities include preparing dialysis machines, initiating and terminating treatments, and accurate documentation of patient data with compassion and professionalism.

Requirements include CCHT/CHT certification, BLS, valid driver’s license, and ability to lift up to 35 pounds. In OH/MD/KY, DT certification may also be required.

Qualifications

• Must hold CCHT or CHT certification.
• BLS certification required; and in OH/MD/KY, a Dialysis Technician (DT) certification may be required in addition to CCHT/CHT.
• Valid driver's license and transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds; safety sensitive position.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and set up dialysis machines prior to treatment sessions.
• Initiate and terminate dialysis treatments in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Monitor and accurately document patient treatment data in the medical record.
• Reinforce training and educational content as provided by other healthcare team members.
• Adhere to approved quality control procedures when assisting with hemodialysis treatments under RN supervision.
• Provide patient care with compassion, professionalism, and without discrimination.
• Ensure informed consent is obtained and documented prior to initiating procedures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
