Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a dedicated Registered Dietitian to join the nutrition team. You will educate patients with kidney disease, perform detailed nutrition assessments, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans across in-center and home settings.

The role requires RD licensure, strong communication, and the ability to teach patients and families. Experience in renal nutrition is preferred, with opportunities to support QAI and quality

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with current licensure.
• 1 year of professional clinical nutrition experience.
• Renal nutrition experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to teach and educate patients and families.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient knowledge of diet and kidney disease and educates accordingly.
• Provides patient-specific nutrition education for status, fluids, and labs.
• Completes nutrition assessments and participates in interdisciplinary assessments.
• Develops written, individualized care plans with the team.
• Calculates diet prescriptions per standard of practice.
• Maintains medical records documentation per FMCNA policies.
• Monitors nutrition therapy and adjusts as needed to meet goals.
• Collaborates with the team on QAI and ESRD education.
