Dialysis Clinic, Inc. in Tennessee is hiring a Dialysis Nurse Manager to lead facility operations and supervise nursing staff, ensuring safe, efficient dialysis treatments and adherence to DCI policies. This role requires a BSN or equivalent, dialysis experience, and a TN RN license.

Qualifications

  • Accredited nursing degree required (BSN, AA, RN).
  • Six months' dialysis experience required; one year dialysis experience preferred.
  • One year clinical nursing experience required.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Current TN Registered Nurse license.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule patients and staff and provide direct patient care when needed.
  • Ensure all hemodialysis treatments follow DCI policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement standards of care in line with ESRD Network and QAPI.
  • Plan and provide training and assessments for patient care staff with nurse educator.
  • Coordinate QAPI, risk management program with quality and risk manager.
  • Collaborate on patient care initiatives with medical director, social worker, and other staff.
  • Integrate unit activities with clinic operations and medical direction.
  • Manage supervision of nursing, social work, dietitian and technical staff.

The Dialysis Nurse Manager is responsible for dialysis facility management and nursing personnel supervision to ensure safe, efficient dialysis treatments for all DCI patients.

Compensation: Pay range from $46.00-$61.82 per hour, depending on nursing and dialysis experience

Responsibilities

What You Can Expect:

  • Schedule patients and staff and provide direct patient care when needed
  • Ensure all hemodialysis treatments in the dialysis facility follow DCI policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement standards of care, providing patient care in accordance with ESRD Network, regulatory agencies, DCI's Quality Assessment Performance Improvement (QAPI) program and the individual clinic's requirements
  • Plan and provide training and assessments for patient care staff alongside nurse educator
  • Coordinate DCI, QAPI and risk management program implementation with the quality and risk manager
  • Collaborate on patient care initiatives with medical director, social worker, dietitian, charge nurses, technical managers, staff nurses and equipment technicians
  • Integrate unit activities as they relate to patient care, staff education, research projects and unit expansions with clinic operations director and medical director
  • Manage nursing, social work, dietitian, and technical staff supervision with medical director
  • Fulfill supervisory responsibilities in accordance to DCI's policies and procedures and applicable laws
  • Work closely with area operations director on identifying operational efficiencies
