Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing (LPN, LVN) with current state licensure.
• Minimum one year medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Hemodialysis experience preferred but not required.
• Successful completion of CPR Certification.
• Must complete Nurses Technical Training Program upon hire or soon thereafter.
• Ability to cover area facilities during short-staffing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for assigned patients.
• Perform dialysis procedures and monitor treatments as prescribed.
• Document treatment parameters and patient condition.
• Report significant information or equipment problems to supervisor.
• Assist with teaching patients and families about dialysis and diet.
