Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a dialysis-focused nurse to provide direct patient care within our clinics. You will perform dialysis procedures, monitor treatment responses, and document patient progress under RN supervision.

The role emphasizes patient education, safety, and collaboration with the healthcare team. A valid nursing license and CPR certification are required, with dialysis experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing (LPN, LVN) or equivalent RN licensure.
• Current appropriate State licensure is required.
• One year medical-surgical nursing experience preferred; dialysis experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for assigned patients undergoing hemodialysis.
• Perform dialysis procedures and administer treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document treatment parameters; report changes to supervisor.
• Educate patients and families about dialysis care, diet, and medications.
• Initiate basic CPR and respond to dialysis-related emergencies.
• Operate dialysis equipment safely and maintain a clean, safe treatment area.
