Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Vega Baja seeks a dedicated cleaner to maintain a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment for the facility and patients. You will disinfect all areas, clean bathrooms, kitchens and waiting areas, manage waste disposal, and assist with basic maintenance tasks as needed.

High school diploma preferred and 0–1 years of cleaning/housekeeping experience accepted; training will cover MSDS/HMIS policies and safety standards to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year's prior experience in cleaning/housekeeping preferred.
• High School Diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides a clean, hygienic, and pleasant working environment for the facility.
• Ensures that all areas are properly cleaned and disinfected, especially locations where patients and visitors will be present.
• Responsible for cleaning and ensuring that all facility equipment is free from debris, dust, stains, etc.
• Maintains cleaning supply area and reports supply needs for ordering.
• Furnishes hygienic materials (soap, sanitizer, paper towels, etc.).
• May assist with dialysis prep areas and document related logs.
