Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a Biomedical Technician to maintain and repair dialysis equipment and water treatment systems across our kidney care clinics. You will train colleagues on operational maintenance and ensure patient safety through proper equipment handling.

You will also manage service parts inventory, document activities, and collaborate with staff to meet regulatory and OSHA requirements while supporting the clinic’s daily operations.

Qualifications

• Strong manual dexterity and use of hand tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move equipment
• Good communication skills with colleagues and patients

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs dialysis equipment, ancillary equipment, and water treatment systems.
• Maintains the physical plant as directed.
• Documents repairs and maintenance activity.
• Transports equipment between clinics as needed.
• Participates in monthly technical and regulatory meetings.
• Collaborates with facility staff to meet regulatory/OSHA requirements.
• Provides on-call technical coverage for clinics as needed.
