Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Biomedical Technician to maintain and repair dialysis equipment and water treatment systems within our kidney care clinics. The role includes training colleagues on operational maintenance to ensure patient safety and manage medical supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Driver's license required; continued employment contingent on Fresenius Biomedical Technician training within 24 months.
• Experience in biomedical/medical tech is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs dialysis equipment, ancillary equipment, and water treatment systems.
• Maintains the physical plant, as directed.
• Ensures outside vendor services are completed per contract.
• Purchases and retains an inventory of service parts.
• Performs water/dialysate sample collection and analyses as required.
• Conducts trend analysis on the water system to assure proper function.
• Documents repairs and maintenance activity.
• Assists in planning and installing biomedical equipment for safe operation.
• Transports equipment as needed with supervisor consent.
• Participates in monthly technical and regulatory meetings.
