Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Biomedical Technician to service dialysis equipment and water treatment systems in our clinics. You will train staff on maintenance, contribute to safety, and help manage biomedical inventories.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and an associated electronics/biomedical degree is preferred. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in electronics/biomedical technology preferred but not required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Less than 1 year related experience.
• Experience in mechanical/medical settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs dialysis equipment, ancillary equipment, and water treatment systems.
• Maintains the physical plant as directed.
• Ensures outside vendor services are completed per contract.
• Purchases and retains an inventory of service parts.
• Performs water/dialysate sample collection and actions required.
