Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a Biomedical Technician to maintain and repair dialysis equipment and water treatment systems across our clinics. You will train staff on maintenance of dialysis devices to ensure patient safety and system reliability.

You will perform preventive maintenance, manage inventory, document repairs, and provide after-hours on-call support as needed. A collaborative, hands-on technician with mechanical aptitude will thrive.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Associate degree in electronics/biomedical technology preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Fresenius Biomedical Technician training within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs dialysis equipment, ancillary equipment, and water treatment systems.
• Maintains the physical plant, as directed.
• Purchases and retains an inventory of service parts.
• Performs water/dialysate sampling and reports actions required.
• Documents all repairs and maintenance activity.
• Provides scheduled after hour technical on-call coverage for clinics.
