Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Dialysis Equipment Technician to ensure dialysis equipment and facility systems operate safely and efficiently for patients with chronic kidney disease.

The role involves inspecting, repairing and maintaining equipment and water systems in a full-time, on-site setting in Boston, MA. The position emphasizes following strict infection control and safety standards, along with documenting all repairs and coordinating with nurses and vendors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Repair, calibrate and maintain dialysis equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
• Follow AAMI water safety and reprocessing standards.
• Provide routine maintenance and repair of water systems.
• Document repairs and maintenance per DCI policy.
• Test and document air quality; take appropriate action as needed.
• Maintain inventory functions as assigned.
• Adhere to hazardous chemicals handling and medical waste disposal procedures.
• Observe infection control procedures.
• Complete minor building maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate facility repairs with nurse manager, AOD and vendors.
• Participate in quality improvement and risk management programs.

The Dialysis Equipment Technician ensures the dialysis equipment, systems, supplies and facility are functioning properly and safely to ensure patients receive the safest care with the highest‑quality outcomes.

Schedule: Fulltime Monday through Friday, shifts start at 8am, call availability required as needed

Compensation: Pay range from $26-$34 per hour, depending on technical equipment and dialysis experience; experience preferred, not required

What You Can Expect:

Education/Training:

• Minimum three to six months’ experience servicing dialysis equipment and systems strongly preferred
• Candidates with electrical maintenance experience also considered
