Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Akron, OH seeks a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join the dialysis health care team under supervision of a licensed nurse. You’ll assist with setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, monitor patient status, and help ensure a clean, safe treatment area.

Training provided; benefits begin after 30 days, with paid dialysis training, tuition reimbursement, and 401K match. Eligible for healthcare benefits, generous PTO, ESL leave accrual, and other perks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification requirements.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate dialysis machines and monitor treatment.
• Take pre- and post-treatment vital signs and document data.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean patient care environment.
• Support education for patients on dialysis processes and care.
