Fresenius Medical Care in the United States is seeking a dialysis support role to assist with setup and operation of hemodialysis machines under licensed supervision. No prior dialysis experience is required as on-the-job training is provided, with rotating shifts and potential 4/10 or 3/12 hour schedules.

Qualifications

• No prior dialysis experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Responsabilités

• Assist in education about adequacy measures (OLC, AMP, UKM) and disease process.
• Welcome patients and check wellbeing since last treatment.
• Evaluate vascular access patency and perform cannulation as delegated.
• Obtain pre- and post-treatment vital signs and weights; evaluate pre-treatment access.
• Initiate dialysis per prescribed orders (QB, QD).
• Monitor patient response and intervene as directed.
• Document vitals and discontinuation of treatment.
