Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dialysis technician to join our team. The role involves assisting in the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, monitoring patients during treatment, and documenting treatment data accurately.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED, CMS certifications where required, and CPR certification. Day-to-day work includes patient care, documentation, and adherence to infection control practices at an on-site facility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMS-approved state or national certification requirements within the required state.
• Current CPR certification preferred and required by some centers.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Monitor patient wellbeing during treatment and respond to intradialytic issues.
• Record vital signs, treatment parameters and weights on the Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet.
• Ensure safe and clean environment and comply with infection control practices.
• Prepare initial charts, labs, and documentation for patients.
• Observe and report patient condition changes to the nurse or supervisor.
