Job summary

CH01 CHE Fresenius Medical Care (Schweiz) AG is seeking a dialysis technician to join the health care team, under licensed nurse supervision, providing safe and effective dialysis therapy to patients. You will set up and operate dialysis machines, monitor patient response, and maintain a clean, safe work environment in alignment with CQI goals.

The role includes patient education, preparation for treatment, and accurate recording of vital signs, treatment parameters, and laboratory specimens.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• CPR certification preferred or required by state policy.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines and monitor treatment parameters.
• Perform patient assessment and vital signs before, during, and after dialysis.
• Document treatment data accurately and report changes to the RN or supervisor.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards; assist with patient education and CQI activities.
• Coordinate with care team to ensure smooth transitions and home dialysis education where indicated.
