Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care Beaumont, TX is seeking a dialysis technician to join the patient care team. You will assist in the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines and contribute to safe, effective treatments under nursing supervision.

You will monitor patients during therapy, document vital signs and treatment parameters, and participate in CQI and infection control practices to ensure quality care. A high school diploma or GED and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification within required state or CMS timeline.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training (if any) required.
• Demonstrated commitment to organization culture, values, and customer service standards.
• Previous patient care experience in hospital or related facility preferred.
• Continued employment depends on successful completion of dialysis training program and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Evaluate vascular access patency and cannulation; administer heparin as delegated.
• Record vital signs, weight, and treatment data; monitor patient response to dialysis.
• Provide care and treatment under supervision; document interventions and outcomes.
• Maintain infection control and a clean, safe treatment environment.
