Job summary

DaVita in Minnesota is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. You will provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining dialysis equipment, monitoring vital signs, educating patients on treatment and kidney health, and collaborating with the care team. Competitive wage and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Accredited High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet.
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, long shifts, Saturdays, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
• Record vital signs and patient data.
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.
