Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for outpatient dialysis care. You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate patient care, supporting hemodialysis delivery under supervision and collaborating with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

You will educate patients and families about treatment options, coordinate with RNs, LPNs, and technicians, and participate in ongoing quality improvement activities within a hospital-based dialysis setting.

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience is preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current state licensure and CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Assist with hemodialysis therapy under supervision and ensure safe delivery of care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and options; document care and adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to meet transplant and modality education goals.
