We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Dialysis Associate, Outpatient - Per Diem - Bethpage. In this role, the successful candidate performs various patient care activities and related services necessary for caring for the personal needs, comfort and safety of the patient with consideration to their age and cultural background. The employee works under the direct supervision of the professional nurse and performs duties as delegated.
To qualify you must have a High School or GED. Hemodialysis Technologist/Technician. Certification is required upon hire or within 18 months of continuous employment as a Dialysis Associate or Technician in any dialysis facility. Excellent communication skills (both written and oral), interpersonal, problem‑solving, critical thinking skills. Basic computer skills. Knowledge of regulatory and WUH policies governing safety standards, infection control, and patient belongings.
Dialysis Tech – Certification, Clinical Hemodialysis Tech‑Ct.
1–2 years Nursing Assistant or equivalent.
